Overview
Oliver Stone Landscaping is a boutique landscaping business delivering high-end residential gardens across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Led by second-generation landscape gardener Oliver Stone, the business has built a strong reputation primarily through word of mouth, with Instagram previously serving as its only digital presence.
We were engaged to design and develop Oliver’s first dedicated website — a refined, portfolio-led platform that would elevate the brand beyond social media and reflect the calibre of his work.
The goal was to create a cohesive digital presence that showcased completed projects, communicated his experience and philosophy, and positioned the business confidently within the premium end of the market.
A half-day professional photography shoot anchored the project. The aim was to capture his landscapes with clarity and impact, while also creating a confident portrait that added a human presence to the brand.

Our Approach
We designed a clean, gallery-driven website where imagery led the experience.
The photography was intentionally bold and dynamic - capturing structure, texture, symmetry and light to bring the gardens to life. Wide hero shots established scale, while detailed images highlighted craftsmanship and materiality.
We also included a strong profile image of Oliver to humanise the brand - putting a name to the face and reinforcing trust. In a word-of-mouth business, personal reputation is everything.
The website needed to reflect his experience as a second-generation landscape gardener, his apprenticeship under award-winning designer Trudy Crerar, his collaborative, consultation-led process, and his ability to balance aesthetics with practicality.
The result was a refined, confident site that mirrored the quality of his landscaping work.
